2nd place Chuck Sinks powered by North T5

Tyler Sinks edges his father Chuck “Sensei” Sinks by 1 point to take Senior Sabot National Title held this weekend at Misson Bay YC. This title will go next to his Jr. National Title that Tyler has won in the past. Both Tyler and Chuck used the Sabot T5 mainsail. The T5 mainsail was developed with the youngest Sinks son, Scotty Sinks along with Sensei himself. (Scotty was just crowned HS Team Racing Champion with Point Loma HS two weeks ago at MIT in Boston). It was truly a family throwdown as the championship came down to the last race between Tyler and Chuck.
The T5 sail pairs perfectly with the stiffer masts that are the go-to choice for most serious Sabot racers.
Direct from Chuck Sinks following the event:
“The T5 ( which was developed with Scotty Sinks) was noticeably quicker than any other Sabot sail this weekend across a full range of conditions, Tyler edged out the Old Man [Sensei] by 1 point, but the 3rd place boat, a very fast Mark Gaudio was pretty far back! Great weekend for North in a very competitive fleet. If I were a Junior Sabot sailor hoping to go fast this summer, I’m flying the T5. No question the best sail on the race track!”
